Make Money with Bring The Fresh – Review

I was recently contacted by Kelly Felix who asked me if I would like to review his product Bring The Fresh. Since I am always on the lookout for fresh new ideas and SEO strategies I graciously accepted a free membership to Bring The Fresh in order to have a look through and post this review.

Ok, so lets get into the review:

It has a bit of a strange name, but Bring The Fresh is actually a system that will teach you how to build profitable websites, get them ranked in the search engines and get them generating income for you.

The creators of Bring The Fresh are Kelly Felix and Mike Long. Both guys have been around internet marketing for many years and have had some astonishingly successful websites in the past. (7 figure businesses).

You will discover how anyone can build a simple website in about 45 mins even if you have never built a website before. It’s really a simpler than most people think.Learn the key to a successful website – Choosing the right keywords to target. Get this wrong and you will find it 100 times harder to build a successful site.The simple way to get tons of people to link to your website. Let’s start with the good, there are some great ideas presented in the training videos.  Mike and Kelly clearly know their stuff. They have both been extremely success in their own online businesses, running 6 & 7 figure online businesses in the past. The private members forum is also a great resource where you can ask the guys any specific questions you have and get great feedback.

Now for the bad. There are some parts of bring the fresh that I think could be improved. Personally I think the videos are a bit long winded, I don’t really like video training all that much, I prefer to be able to skip through to the bits that interest me. But then I have been doing this for over 10 years now, and already have quite a few sites ranking number #1 for their target keywords. so I know a lot of the basic stuff.

So for someone just starting out who is yet to build their first income generating site, then it’s probably worth the extra time to watch all the videos to fully understand the strategies.

And of course the Ugly. I have to say (Sorry Kelly) but the design of the site leaves quite a bit to be desired. I’m not sure what they were going for, with the name or the design, but ultimately it doesn’t matter what it looks like if the content is good enough. (Which I believe it is)

Only you can answer that. Bring The Fresh does deliver on its promises though. It is not a “One Click Wonder” type of system where they promise you riches at the push of a button. It contains solid information about how to build a real lasting online business. Real Businesses do take some work to setup though. So if you are looking for a “Get Rich Quick” type of product that promises you untold millions without having to do any work for it, then I am sorry but this is not for you.

If however you realize that in order to create anything of value, you need to do some work for it. Then I recommend taking a look at Bring The Fresh, it just might be what you are looking for.

Make Money With Local Businesses Advertising Brochures

All businesses need to advertise. That’s a fact of life. But what this means is that there is money in it for you if you can offer to help businesses in your local area promote themselves to the people in your neighborhood.

While a lot of people make do with pushing leaflets promoting their business through letterboxes, a well thought out advertising brochure has a lot more perceived value in many people’s eyes – and therefore tends to be kept more readily.

If you can get the interest of a lot of local businesses you could soon be reaping the rewards…

An advertising brochure can be more like a small booklet if you have a few pages in it. The premise is simple – create an advertising structure which offers full page ads, half and quarter page ads and small eighth page display boxes, as well as classified adverts near the back, and offer deals to local businesses for advertising for three months or more at a discounted price.

The ad prices should cover the cost of getting the brochures set up and printed, as well as having them distributed around the local area (although you can do this part yourself to begin with until the cash really starts to flow, as it will help to keep your initial costs down).

The idea is to make the overall brochure as valuable as possible, so if you can encourage people to offer vouchers for money off deals then the brochure stands a much higher chance of being kept for longer. You can also add value yourself by researching your local area and including one or two articles about it in each issue.

As for frequency, every month is a good bet since any more than this and it won’t get noticed. People will automatically start to think that they may as well bin it as there will be another one through next week. Any less frequent than a month apart and the businesses won’t get the full effect of the advertising.

As far as businesses go, this one doesn’t involve a lot of money down to get it started, although you can offer special deals to get people interested. Let’s say for example you offer people the first issue’s advertising spot free, if they pay for the following two months up front. That is a good deal as it gives them a boost to their advertising for free initially.

Once you have the brochure underway and you have got a couple of issues out, you can think about delivering more brochures each month, or perhaps even starting up a new one in a new area. If you build the cost of getting someone else to deliver them for you into the price of the adverts, you can concentrate on building up a portfolio of brochures that are distributed in several areas close to where you live. Over time this could become a real money spinner.

Offer Marketing Services To Offline Businesses

As hard as it may be to believe, there are still some businesses out there that don’t have an online presence. But they don’t all want or need a huge website with complicated ordering processes, yet that is often what all the best design companies are offering.


The main reason for many businesses to get online is to raise their profile and attract more customers – and that is exactly what you can offer them. You don’t even need to be a web designer either; the main idea here is to do things for them that they cannot do themselves.


And that is where the money making opportunity lies.


There is a lot of potential here to offer a lot of services to businesses who don’t yet have an online presence.


If you have basic design skills and you feel confident in creating simple websites then you could offer a service for a flat fee which includes a domain name and a basic website of a limited number of pages. But there is plenty more you can do as well.


For example, if you are good at writing you could offer to write articles around the subject of each business and submit them to a number of online article directories. You would then provide a link at the bottom inviting people to call the number of the business if they want to find out more. You would usually include a web address here but a phone number would work if they don’t have a website.


Similar services would offer classified adverts, written and submitted to those markets which would get them the best publicity. You could also set up a package to create a blog around the subject of their business, writing a couple of unique posts to it every week and gradually building up a following from there. If you did this you would probably find it better to charge an initial set up fee to help cover the domain name and hosting costs, followed by a small monthly fee to keep the site going.


There is also the possibility of writing brand new press releases to promote a new service or product that a business has launched. You could then charge a fee to write and distribute these to a specific number of outlets.


As you can see there are plenty of different ways that you can help offline businesses get some kind of presence online, and even if you start off with basic services you can add others as you go along. The trick is to be as versatile as you can and perhaps even offer a discount for opting for more than one service.


See what other people are currently doing as well. Some graphic designers offer a number of add on services to their main design service that you could offer yourself, without having the headache of website designing that goes along with it.


Make sure you create a proper list of services and prices and promote them offline by contacting businesses via leafleting and so on. This should start to bring in your first few clients and you can then build up your business from there. The trick is to start finding freelancers to help you get all the work done once you get to the stage of being really busy.

Making Money as a Music teacher

If you went to school and played an instrument, chances are you have developed skills that you can share with others. If you have a passion for music, that is a great segment into teaching your musical skill. Here are some tips to get started.


You can teach kids, teenagers and even adults your musical skills. There are opportunities at the conservatory level and college level for experienced and proficient players as well. If you had done any serious musical study, chances are you will know where you fall on the charts. However, for teaching kids and teenagers typically your musical pedagogy (or teaching method) is more important to master. Teaching is different from playing, and those who come in underprepared will attest of the challenges. You need to develop a curriculum and a schedule. If you are not able to improve your student, people will start to leave.


You can teach at your local musical instrument seller. They typically market their products to those people who bought their school-grade instruments from the store. It is usually good enough to get started. Some people who study music exclusively in school may choose to teach at a home studio.


Opening your home practice


If you start a home studio, you will need to find customers. This is the next step, and you want to work for others organizations to begin with, as it is easier. You can convert a room in your house into your studio. This will allow you to teach and keep your home life separate. There are other benefits to having a separate room in your house exclusively for business. Please consult with your financial advisor to learn about some of these benefits.


You can start listing your advertisements in locations where these people congregate. Coffee shops are a good example. You can also create a website and list your services on craigslist. One of the best ways is through word of mouth. If you can find people to vouch for your services (provided you are good), you can usually develop a client base this way, then live off of referrals for awhile. You should also make your services available to the public through library programs or through playing gigs. If you can also perform, then you might list your services afterwards to attract students that like your music.


If you teach younger students, then you will have to work around the school year schedule. This means there will be an influx of students when school starts, and if there is a school break, expect student turnout to be lessened. If you have serious students, who aspire to practice professionally, then they may continue with you year round. If you can inspire your student to learn, he will also stick around as well. There is a fine line between being strict and being too lenient. Some students need discipline, while others desire freedom and are just taking lessons because they have to. If you can find good students, you will probably feel more fulfilled as well. The key is in balance, and working to your skills.
